What Does Rotary Connections Offer?

Rotary Connections offers a leadership development program consisting of three full-day sessions: Parts I, II, and III.

The courses are designed to expand participants’ knowledge of Rotary while developing leadership skills that can be applied within Rotary, the workplace, and other volunteer organizations.

Should Our Club Participate?

Absolutely - If your club is committed to developing strong leaders, Rotary Connections is an outstanding investment.

Participants deepen their knowledge of Rotary, develop practical leadership skills, and exchange ideas with Rotarians from clubs throughout the district. Many alumni consider these networking opportunities to be among the program’s greatest benefits.

Each participant receives a course workbook that includes the Institute Manual, session agendas, faculty information, course outlines, and supporting materials.

Who Should Attend?

Rotary Connections recommends that clubs nominate Rotarians who demonstrate leadership potential.

Participants do not need to be future club presidents. The program is ideal for members who have a genuine interest in Rotary and are eager to broaden their understanding of the organization beyond the club level.

Each club is encouraged to nominate one or two members each year and to support previous participants as they continue with Parts II and III.

What Are the Teaching Methods?

Rotary Connections is built around discussion, participation, and shared learning rather than traditional lectures.

Most breakout sessions are limited to approximately 10–15 participants, allowing everyone the opportunity to contribute.

Teaching methods include:

  • Small-group discussions

  • Role-playing exercises

  • Problem-solving workshops

  • Project development activities

  • Multimedia presentations

Every participant is encouraged to actively engage throughout the program.
